Get Ready -  Your First Year at Utica College


We're glad you've chosen to attend UC! Here's a handy checklist to help you get started. If you have any questions or need more information, please contact us. 


Pay your Deposit

To reserve your spot at Utica College, your $300 enrollment deposit is due May 1, 2018 or 20 days after the official date of your acceptance letter (whichever is later). On-campus housing preference is based on the date you submit your deposit to Utica College.

Activate your BannerWeb and Email Accounts

After you pay your deposit, you can activate your BannerWeb ( and Utica College Email ( accounts by visiting Your username and password will provide you access to both your email and BannerWeb, which is used for accepting financial aid, registering for classes, and other important steps.

Check Your Email Often: You should check your email daily for important updates and helpful information on completing your enrollment.

Accept Financial Aid

You must accept your financial aid award before your funding is applied to your account. Your award can be viewed and accepted through BannerWeb. Detailed instructions and a video tutorial will be sent to your Utica College Email.

Sign Up For Housing

Complete your housing agreement and select your room online at Meet your classmates and potential roommates using MooseMatch and the Class of 2022 Facebook Group. A limited number of discounted rate Triple Rooms and exciting themed housing opportunities are available on a first come, first served basis. Preference is based on the date you submit your deposit to Utica College. Housing Agreement and roommate preference are due June 1, 2018.

You can save more than $1250 per year by selecting a triple room.

Register for Classes

A member of the Office of Student Success will be registering you to full-time status based on your chosen major. You will receive your fall schedule at the end of July, beginning of August. Be sure to check your UC email for updates and important instructions on registration information.


Send Final Transcripts

Utica College must receive your final high school transcript with proof of graduation before you will be able to complete your enrollment. Official documents can be mailed to the Office of Admissions.


College Transcript/Dual Credit/AP Courses

Transfer students and first-year students who have taken courses for college credit must send official transcripts to the Office of Admissions.

Register for Events

We offer a variety of events in the spring open exclusively to accepted students. Check often for a full listing and updates.

Accepted Student Day - Meet your future classmates and professors, make your deposit, ask questions and learn about next steps.

uPreview - Get a preview of your UC experience with these events held both on campus and on the road. 

Orientation - Please plan to join us for our very popular, very enjoyable Orientation program. It's a great way to kick off your time at UC.

Complete Health Forms

All new students must fill out the Health Information Form and the immunization form – both available online at

Health Insurance Waiver

Health insurance coverage is required for all full-time students. If you are currently insured through someone else’s policy, you will need to submit a request online to waive the coverage starting after July 1, 2018. You will be sent an email with a direct link to the insurance waiver website.


Pay Your Bill

The first billing statement will be mailed home, and notification that your bill is ready to be viewed online will be sent directly to your Utica College Email Account in early June. You must finalize payment or enroll in a payment plan by July 11, 2018.
